Did this install for another member of my department. Pair of Feniex T6's mounted in the grille and pair of T3's out back. Owner wanted a complete no drill install (except the switch) so toggle bolts were used in the grille to make a sandwich (T6/grille/toggle nut), and 3M VHB tape was used to hold the brackets for the T3 rears. The dash light is a suction cup mount 5mm jobbie from their previous vehicle that they wanted to keep.

Those T3s do really well back there.

Yes they do. The factory tint barely fazes them.

T3's look great through the tint.
I rather would have had the T6's higher up (either on the sides of the Chevy logo or the upper grill).

Hopefully you can convince your buddy to replace the dash light with an Apollo dash light, or even a pass. side cobra ILB (since I don't think he'd wanna dish out the $ for a full size ILB cobra)

I have a B/W 1x that I suggested, but money was a factor. They had the T6s and a pair of cannons from their last car (trailblazer) and wanted to do a full swap over but the backup light housing on the new tahoe is too small. The T3s were within their budget and the cannons are now going into their other ride. If I get a chance I'll put up the trailblazer video.

Video of what these lights came out of.

The ceiling panel back there is actually plastic where the lights hang, so it's not stuck on the cloth. VHB tape is the same stuff that holds a lot of auto lettering/badges on.

Yea, those grille lights would fit perfectly in the middle gap on either side of the bowtie, they would blend in better too while not being obstructed.

I totally agree with the grille light placement. They need to be a bit further apart and up a bit. The owner wanted them "tucked" like they were on their previous trailblazer.
