Here's one of two recently completed 2017 Dodge Durango's we built for the City of Monroe Fire Dept. (Ohio) This vehicle is a civilian model due to it being a leased vehicle and stipulations were imposed by the lease company, which we had to work around.
Ironically, they have since redacted their stipulations and will now lease pursuit rated vehicles to the department. (at least in our area)

Equipment List:
Whelen Legacy 48" Dual Color Light Bar: R/W-R/A + Flood Mode
Federal Signal Touchmaster Siren/Light Controller
(2) Whelen SA315P 100 Watt Speakers
Havis vehicle specific console w/ accessories
Opticom traffic camera GPS unit w/ custom painted antenna (roof)
Motorola radio (no attached mic, only used for scanning nearby FD traffic)
Motorola Speaker (mounted to rear of console)
Motorola portable radio charger (mounted to rear of console)
Dash Camera hardwired to ignition
SoundOff MPower 4" Fascia Dual Color Lights: Red + Flood Mode (grille)
Feniex Fusion 200 Light Sticks: R/W (rear side windows)
Feniex Fusion 600 Dual Color Light Stick: R/A (Rear Window)
Motorola 800 & Motorola VHF shorty antenna's (on either rear side windows)
8EVP 24" Dual Color Cargo Light: R/W (bottom of tail gate)
Axixtech ST6 Led Lights: Red (bottom edge of tail-gate)
Whelen Vertex's: White (brake lights)
Feniex Flashers (flashing front & rear factory lights)
SoundOff MPower Fascia Lights: Red (license plate area)

Nice install all around.
Would be interested in how well those antennas work on the rear windows. If they work well that's a great "undercover/covert" spot.

Looks great. Only thing I would've liked to see is some more intersection (i.e. a 10-75 bracket since it's a lease). I found it kinda awkward that the customer wanted both radios beneath the arm rest (I can understand that for the scanning radio, it's a PITA to change the one that they talk on if need be), but I understand you do as instructed by the customer.

Did you program the low power function on the legacys? The legacys are incredibly bright on our Battalion Chief and Rescue Captain vehicles, but our mechanics didn't program the dimming/low power, so some of the guys turn the lightbar off completely at night.

PS If I were a dealership, I def would not want to lease any SUVs or cars to PDs or FDs, b/c of how much wear we put on them in any single year (let alone 3-5 years)

We have been using those on detective/covert vehicles in Dallas PD since the early 90's. They work great.

Looks like a normal roof mount 1/4 wave on a bracket if I'm not mistaken.

Yes. It was the location I was commenting on.
I did the same on my charger but used the child safety bolts in the back window to mount them on. Works great and less holes to drill on the vehicle.

Impressive! I'm just curious about the LED flashers and how they tie in to the head/tail lights to make them flash. Our department just ordered a 2017 Durango SSV. If anyone has that info, I'm interested.

Where are the 8EVP products made... China like AWL/SNM?

Negative. The owner is from Australia, but the lights are made in Taiwan, just like Axixtech lights are. Very good quality, Nice & Bright & lot's of built-in features too! (they also come with a 5 Year Warranty, which we have Never utilized)

I'd be worried about the ground plane with regular 1/4 wave antennas.

Never mind that whip antennas should be mounted vertically for best results.

The antenna placement works perfectly for reception & transmitting.
ZERO issues, field tested, 100% operational.

I'm also interested in how the front and rear lights are controlled by flasher. I have a 2017 civilian model coming and would love to add this to the lighting package.

Thanks in advance, wolfman
