So the stars may align and i may be the owner of a 2017 explorer in the near future. i saw that their was a new factory option for the 17 interceptor utility to have a wing with light heads already installed dual color. the one in the video is red blue with amber TA option.

Ford came out with that last fall along with a front ILB that's very low-profile for the NGPI Utility. Most dealership employees wont know what you're talking about unless they work on the gov/fleet side.
The rear spoiler part number is 96T. It has 90 LEDs, multicolor options, built-in TA patterns.
No idea on price, but it'll probably be pretty hefty. I can't remember if it was this or another Ford option, but I think someone said it may be made by SOS?

Ford-branded, manufactured by SoundOff. If I understand the concept, the light is a "one model fits all" meaning it ships with all colors available and the dealer or EU programs it in the field.

Update:
So i now own a White 2017 Explorer so that's fun, anyway, i spoke to the parts guy at Grappone ford in Bow NH and after several emails and a call to ford i have a part list and what i was given as a price. if anyone happened to have $2,623.40 that they wanted to blow (that's just parts, not installed or a controller) heres the list:

Part# description price$
FB5Z*7844210*AB Spoiler Kit $675.85
HB5Z*13404*A Lamp Assembly A TriColor $900.00
HB5Z*13405*A Lamp Assembly B TriColor $900.00
*W790440*S900 Boltx2 $4.00
*W520801*S439 Nutx2 $2.00
HB5Z*15A599*A Wire Assembly to connect to factory police harness if equipped $144.55

i will not be getting one, as awesome as it would look, i could light the whole truck up for that much.

unless its free, then i'm down.

So it's $675 for the empty shell, $900 for the driver's side LEDs, and another $900 for the passenger's side LEDs?

I know it's not as inconspicuous as something built-in to the spoiler, but check out the SOS mpower with their NGPIU brackets (the mpower are very small and SOS has 3 different size brackets)

yes the light heads are unreasonably and Prohibitively expensive. but they are 90 led tri color red/amber/blue. the Mpowers are very nice. i don't need the 3 colors i'm not allowed blue anywhere, anytime, ever.
prob gonna go with the Feniex Fusion 600 stick R/A in the back because the spoiler mounts cannot do traffic advisor functions without wiring way above my skill level.

Thanks for everyone's help cant wait to get some stuff on this rig!!
