33rd Annual Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival

This year's Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival takes place September 13th-16th.


This will not only be my first year attending the event, it'll be the first year representing Priority One Emergency. Who else is planning on going?

I went to the memorial Friday and was impressed this year as alot of vendors


did not show up such as Whelen,Signal. No used equipment, so we left early


but had a chance to stop by and spoke with Sarah from Priority1.

I found it quite disappointing that there weren't as many vendors this year; Doug Kelly didn't even show up with all of his vintage goodies.

Speaking with doug today he said " there isnt any way to make money above the drive time and hotel stay" He said it has turned into a more modern equipment show then vintage.

even though we had three vehicles that was going to be entered.

There usually are a ton, but this year there was almost no used equipment to be found. Lots of new stuff, and more knick-knacky dust collectors than you could shake a stick at. The events and competitions on Saturday are a blast, though.
