Fully functional I assume? Does it have alleys and how many rotators in it? Definitely interested since it would be a good fit in my collection. I have an all red and an all blue Advantedge bars

It is fully functional and I am pretty sure it does not have alleys. I see it has 7 rotators. The guy who was going to pick it up from me decided not to show so it is still for sale!

dropping price to 150 obo.
The shipping is the issue for me.  I'd pay $150 in person, but can't imagine shipping this poor monster.

I'm still interested in this bar, as per my post above, but I need to get a ballpark shipping cost to the Lone Star state. BTW, I just acquired a slightly shorter Advantage that is still a monster at 64" and it has all clear lenses and end caps, so if I can get this one, I will have an Advantedge in every factory length offered.

Sorry Wmreader, I bought this bar this past Christmas.

I have a very similar 72" Advantedge that just sold on ebay last night. I need to work on getting it packaged up in the next day or so and shipped out. I always use FedEx, as I've found they're the cheapest for heavy and/or long packages. I'll post after I get it shipped exactly what it cost me to ship. I live in PA 15417 zip code, and I'll be shipping to NC.

NVM! I skipped over the last post, and just read it. I see it's already been sold.

17th, I would be interested to see what the shipping cost is for your bar, just for grins and giggles :)

Just to give anyone interested an idea...

My Advantedge all packaged up weighed just shy of 40 lbs, and measured 78" x 16" x 10". It was shipped from 15417 PA to 27856 NC.

USPS Price Calculator gave me an estimate of $72.94 for Standard Post (which was the only option available due to length: Priority Mail was not even offered). This estimate includes tracking, but does not include insurance.

FedEx Ground (equivalent to Standard Post) for the same exact package was $46.14 total, which included tracking and insurance up to $500.

Another note on insurance: The only reason I put 500 insurance on the FedEx package was because it was actually CHEAPER to do 500 than 400 or 200, so I went with more insurance. Insurance for $500 on the USPS package was an additional $8, bringing the total to $80.94. However, if I went this route, I would have only insured it at $200, which was an additional $3.30.

Either way, FedEx is more expensive for little packages, but FedEx blows USPS out of the water on price on the larger packages such as lightbars. I will continue to use USPS for all small packages, and use FedEx for all lightbars and other large items.

Thanks for that info 17th, it was definitely helpful and interesting to see the surprising difference in prices.

On a side note, I have now measured the Advantedge I just acquired that I mentioned in post 12 above and was surprised to see that it is a 72" also, instead of the 64" I was told. I've had some 60" bars before and thought it looked more than only another 4" longer.
