Looking for info on the possibility and or degree of difficulty to swap modules around in the latest generation of LS12 permanent mount. Found some NOS in amber/red and would like to make solid red, solid amber.
Thanks in advance technical gurus..!

No one?
I just don’t want to crack one open if it’s not feasible

I think the latest generation is just like the previous generations. As long you get the same generation LED board, it would just be a matter of unscrewing the lenses, swap the boards, and rescrew the lense on.
I haven’t heard anything saying anything different.

Thanks for the reply firebuff. I know the older version had been discussed previously, I just didn’t want to open one up for trial and error since they are new. I’d live with it the way it is as opposed to ruining it.
I’ll update with results

Upon closer look, the easiest color swap requires solder work. It is not a plug and play switcheroo like I hoped, with minimal disassembly.
