Got a chance to be driving in front of my wife this morning, and it looks like the angle of the roof is a little odd, and it won't be super visible from the front, but that's what the slimlighter is for

Thing definitely has "pop" like a traditional halogen! Obviously it doesn't have the presence of a mini lightbar, but for a beacon it's pretty darn snazzy.

I stopped getting notifications on this thread at some point, but it's really good to see you got this figured-out. The only thing left is the Youtube video (all the photos are gone), but that's a nice clean mag mount install. Very nice!

Next time, just buy exactly what you're looking for rather than something you have to modify that's "close enough."
