I was curious if anyone had any experience with these? How do they perform in different situations? I am looking to get one as a throw light for a work vehicle.

I am curious if the LEDs match color of the dome or if the LEDs are just white. They are not very clear about it on Able2s web page http://www.able2products.com/update/12_6253_v1.htm

Also it mentions something about the availability of an optional anti-glare shield, does anyone know what exactly that is?

I've seen videos of the light in operation. Looks pretty good to me, but no side by side comparison. The anti glare shield is a 1/2 cover that slides on the lens to protect the driver from light in the eyes when the light is mounted on the dash.

ive had one in blue. It wasn't the brightest beacon that I have seen, but for secondary warning it will serve the purpose. Its also smaller than alot of the LED beacons out there today, its roughly the size of a firebeam.

Class 2 lights are always less than the brightest - it's what keeps them from being Class 1, which is what any light worth using should be.
