I wish I did Tony, still looking for one. Think they may have originated with Adamson Industries in San Jose. Still trying to track down a brochure, and photos.. I think they were mostly a west coast thing, especially in the Bay Area...

Yep that would be it! Funny, I was just scrolling through CCDC and Images also! Ya found it before me!! As I recall, you would buy the bar then configure whatever lights you wanted on the bar. So, there would be multiple variations..!!

Adamson.. Well we know Adamson is in MA. But-- it is not the same Adamson that made the Adabar, or so it seems. There was a company named Adamson Industries in CA and they I believe made the Adabar. The two companies per Adamson in MA are NOT related. Now, there is still an Adamson out in CA, I cannot confirm it is the same Adamson from San Jose, and I have contacted them, to see if there is a history or something they can relate back to me. No answer as of now.

I have the center round piece from an Adabar, came attached to the bottom of a Dietz 211. Don’t have the side pieces though. It’s yours for the cost of shipping if you want it.

I believe this is an Adamson Adabar, yes? Strikes me as being more like a roof strap than a bar. This example was on a 1973 Dodge Polara of the Concord CA PD.

Thank you sir!! Great photo!! That is from what I can tell, definetly an Adamson Adabar. Also agree more of a strapping system than a actual "bar" per say. The width of the "bar" or "strap" is consistent with an Adamson Adabar center piece I have acquired...20180903_140349_resized.jpg
