So over the last few months I've acquired a few new pieces to add to the collection, but I didn't think much about posting about them. Some of you will undoubtedly recognize a few of these from fleabay. Occasionally there is still a deal to be had there. Anyway, here's a quick update with a few pics of the latest and greatest...
First, the neutered Whelen 99x...
How is it neutered, you ask?
Yep. Hopefully I can find 994 guts to fill it with!
This is just a cool decoration/conversation piece, I think. The original beacon was replaced in the early 90s with the 550, judging from the date inside the light.
I know I paid too much for this Arrow 530, but that's OK. I still dig it.
This next one is a little different and it got @JohnMarcson 's attention. I may trade it to him for something I've been trying to find for a while. It's a lighthouse style RB6 with a clear dome and one red and one amber filter.
Next up is a neat NOS Dominion Auto strobe from 1989. I was eleven... It may not have much if any "collector value" but it grabbed my attention and I love it.
Here we have my preferred style of RB6 with a rotating reflector. This was also a NOS piece being sold as a Trucklite 92614Y. The price was too good to pass up. I had previously bought a NOS RB6 just like it 4 or 5 years ago, but it turned out to be 24v and while it looks nice on a shelf, I couldn't light it up. This one checks all the boxes.
And finally, here's something I stumbled upon Monday night. When I saw it was a FS Fireball I clicked Buy-It-Now so fast I made myself dizzy! Obviously I don't have it in my hands yet, so this screenshot will have to do.
