I went back to retrieve this guy after spotting it at a Scrap Yard last week. Pulled it from the wrecker and brought it home to give it a once over. Minus some blown bulbs its in good shape overall. I have a mostly trashed NYPD Aero that I may swap the nameplate on move the power cable.. etc, and a NOS Set of NYPD domes to make an NYPD bar... eventually.

The base on this light was very interesting.. it was mounted to the wrecker on almost a tray.. To pull the light off I just undid the locking latches on the tray, cut the wire and that was that. I had some fun getting the rusted frozed bolts to release to get the tray off.. but some PBblaster and a dead blow mallet works wonders.
