It's actually been awhile since I have worked on one of these.. the well seems to have dried up at least locally. I can still find them, but not driving any great distances anymore unless its special.

Lucky me.. I found this one less then 20 min away.
24 EAH-T and it needed a bath badly.. the exterior was caked with dirt and god knows what else. Exterior cleaned up nicely and insides were in very good shape.. I think I finally found my Boston Metro bar conversion candidate!

Only 1 bulb out and that is an Alley light.. take down is wired correctly and I have yet to test the flasher. Does have the old style Jetsonic Feet.. I may leave them be or change them as I have a spare set of Aero feet floating around.

The take-down light on this is a 4464.. I may leave that or just switch to a halogen light when all is said and done.
Build date on the motor is 10-85 and frame reads 85.. so this bar just had it's 32nd Birthday! I figure it's just hitting its stride and with my help it has a long life ahead of it! :)

Also liked the solo right side takedown, back in the day all the ones on my cars had the CA red on the left side.

Very nice looking bar. Congrats. Don't have an Aerodynic yet, but need one to sit up there with Twin and Aerotwins..... just to complete the set.

So I ran into a funny working on this light last night..
The can flasher that came with this light works... kinda. It flashes the bulbs way to fast.. almost like a strobe rather then a thermal flasher. I can honestly say I have seen thermals do odd things but never this.

The geared flash sequence on this bar is outside in alternating.
Cleanup is coming along nicely.. now I need to do some research on the Boston MPD aeros.
