Guys,

Have a guy local that was going to trash a streethawk. I dont really need a project bar but would prefer to take it off his hands vs seeing it get trashed. It appears to function well. Has flashers,, takedowns, alleys, 5 rotators and dyna ray sweeps. Believe 1 dyna ray lights but doesn't move. The bar does need some tlc and at a minimum replacement bases. What are the bars going for? Not looking to resell it but I dont really know if it will be worth effort to repair it if the the parts are going to cost more than the bar. He is asking 75 for it.

If he was going to trash it, the price you pay should be saving him the trip to the dumpster carrying it. They're dime a dozen. $75 is too much for one that needs work and domes. Can hardly sell fully functioning ones with decent domes for that.

I am going to 2nd what @tsquale said. Bars have little value, but are fun to work on.

Yeah, they aren't worth anything really. Just offer $50 and let him haggle you up to $75 if you have to. They're great bars but, as was stated before, a dime a dozen. Unless the bases are white or red, they aren't really worth that much, even with oscillating lights (which could probably be sold for the value of the bar as parts if they're functional).
