Allentown Spring Melt Fireshow 2025

I've thought about going to this event for years but get the impression there are very few light vendors based on the pictures on their website--is this correct? I don't want to make a 4,000 mile roundtrip to find only RescueMarket or BH Flasher with their overpriced wares (or some preferential circle that gets first dibs on the "good stuff").

Thanks.

I will be attending again this year . Last year it was very scarce lot of empty table space but the year before it was packed so I’ll roll the dice and check it out again

Wait what is Saturdays date for ?
Saturday is an Auction, for all sorts of fire memorabilia and vintage items.

@AuroraBorealis Honestly some years are a complete mixed bag, Spring Melt has evolved in some ways that are not really for the better. But such is the fate of all things as word gets out and it grows in popularity. Rescue Market will be there, there are some other vendors but he is probably the biggest. If you do decide to take one hell of a road trip, hit me up and we can do lunch or something.

Thanks for the honest feedback (and the lunch invitation!). I guess I was envisioning multiple siren/light vendors, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Not sure it's worth going across the country for what I can get online!

Appreciate the prompt response.

The flea market on Sunday is largely split between vendors selling things like memorabilia (patches, clothing, etc) vendors selling Antique Fire items of a mixed variety. A few places like Rescue Market, mixed in with VFF companies or other vendors selling used lights, turnout gear.. etc.

Lastly the vendors that are at every flea market and are selling things that are not fire related at all.. Gutter Guards? seriously?

As of the last few years there have been more memorabilia vendors and the like and less of the lighting stuff, both vintage and current.

Not gonna throw shade on the event as I still enjoy going for the most part.
But if you want my honest opinion do a quick forum search of spring melt.

Regardless of their main theme(s), these fairs/expos wouldn't be complete without gutter/siding/hot tub vendors! Thanks again for the candid insight.

Do we know how many people attend the swap meet each year?

Im thinking about going as a vendor but with the prices of an 8x10 booth it gets steep real quick with the amount of lights, sirens n radios I have to sell n space needed. If it’s 200 people, not likely worth it.

Thanks,
Seth

This event is pretty popular, I have yet to see a year where it wasn't fairly full.
