Not at all. Eric is practically the FedSig museum so engineering probably thinks it's just another part of the company requesting the design work.

So I powered it up and it does not work as ordered, so I need to launch it back to its maker

Unfortunately the only shipping they will cover is from my Dealer to them and that is from Indiana to Illinois. The shipping from me to my Dealer is on me

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to order a custom product? I inquired about ordering a replacement I/O board for a Legend LPX in order to permit full lightbar cruise and custom flash patterns, and I got feedback that suggested I asked for the impossible. I didn't even bother to ask about ordering a 2-head version of the VPX SignalMaster, like the old SM2 units.

Federals' Customer service sucks. They are quick to take your money, but if there are any issues it's extremely difficult to get resolved and its never their fault apparently............

After making a few calls and speaking to the engineer who designed my light bar, I was able to rewire it myself to repair it. What happened to quality control?? I will post pictures soon
