Does anyone have pics of installs done on an 03 dodge quad cab pickup, mine is an 03 ram 3500 quad cab dually with a 6spd manual trans. Dont have to be the exact same im just looking for ideas of how other people may have ran wires throughout the truck and how they mounted equipment in the truck.

2003.5 Dodge 4dr dually. I had it in service 5 years. It was an excellent truck!.

Vector or Liberty on the roof as the mood struck me. A 60" Edge strobe below the rear window. 911EP LEDs down the full length of each side of the bed. Dual Raiders on the rear. 400s and stacked TIR3s on the front aftermarket bumper assy. Dual Talons in the front window. 9" search lights added to front bumper along with high output PAR36 spotbeams mounted on each side of the roof bar. I don't have any interior views, but I probably have close ups of the exterior. They are not in this computer. When I find them, I will post them.

Bfd740- ive looked on the site but havent found much, im mainly looking for ideas on running wires and such, i already know what lights i want on the truck although im still open to suggestions.

Retired1- i like what you said you had on your truck, i would like to see more pics of the truck though, i think the 8ft of lighting on each bed side is abit much for me although if you had a use for it thats great and it is a very cool idea.

You have enough traffic advisors for a small police department plus some.

Actually, they are all red & blue. The Liberty was 1/2 red & 1/2 blue with 2 ambers to the front and 2 ambers to the rear. The lights on the side of the bed were 3' blue on each end with a 2' red in the middle. The Raiders were R/B as were the Talons, the 400s, and the TIRs.

I used this truck on the Interstate nightly for years and the side lights were very effective when the truck was presented sideways across a traffic lane. (Note: most police cars have only very effective front and rear warning lights, with little off-axis impact. When parked at an angle, or sideways, little, if any, warning is projected to approaching vehicles)

As far as the inside wiring goes, I use remote switches pretty much exclusively. They make for a very clean install and I can activate just the individual warnings I want at the time, without having to light up everything. Here is a link to one company's offering:

I brought all outside wiring through rubber grommeted holes I drilled under the rear cab floor and through an existing rubber grommet on the driver's side of the firewall

retired1- i plan on having all of my warning lights hooked upto a soundoff signal or whelen remote siren/ light controller so i have the air horn built into the unit, i can not use the siren tones though(atleast yet lol). Did you drill the wholes in the cab floor where the storage area is under the rear seats?? That is where i have my strobe wires running to my power supply now. Also i take it you dont have any pics of the actual installation of the equipment on the truck.

That is exactly where I brought them in. There is plenty of room in the compartment for the remote switch/siren amp. I have extensive pics, but they are in a computer that is in storage and unavailable. So, consider me not to have more pics.
