thats correct they are Paratech Struts. they are used to stabalize vehicles that have become overturned. They are also used in trench rescue situations. or building collapse where an area is needed to be shored up.

rear back up camera. not as nice as some of the flat panel color screens that are available now but still a usefull tool when backing up a truck this big.

all cribbing is color coded to save time and aid in organization.

the white boxes are pre assembled cribbing boxes. they have all the blocks necessary to crib a single car. they include step chocks, 4x4s, 2x4s,wedges, etc.. the idea is to grab and go. saving time and manpower. to the left is pre assembled step chocks.

Yes sir, however we call it a speedy dry hopper here. kitty litter is a no no here for some reason lol. It hold about 500 to 700lbs of speedy dry.

When the CORE system first came out, we did look into switching over to the new system. However our Holmatro rep told us it wouldnt be cost effective to do so because we have the 2000 series tools. it would require new on-board pumps all new lines and rebuilding the connections on the tools. by that time, we could buy some new tools.

The single connection with hot/ swap would deff be a better way to go but we have a pretty good system down now. the driver of the truck rarely is allowed to leave the truck, that way we can motion to him with hand signals when to "kill" the red or blue lines.. It seems to work pretty well for us, we got a great extrication crew and are lucky enough to have just about any tool to do the job.
