At work, we are looking at buying replacement lighting with surplus money. We are looking to buy several light setups for 2011 vehicles but we don't know what GSA is going to be giving us as a vehicle. No decision has been made about lightbars versus slicktops per se, but the need to fit whatever vehicles we get is steering us towards lightbars.

I prefer a slicktop and was wondering if there are any options for internal lightbars that would not be vehicle specific. I'm not looking for just a dual talon, but something with roughly four flashing lightheads and takedowns.

sos ultralite is a universal fit interior lightbar and costom brackets are made by sos. dont know bout takedowns but im sure you can get creative

Stealth Visors are nice and can go in almost any car/truck. May not have a total custom fit but they will work just fine.

Sound Off Pinnacle Its size makes it easy to install on most vehicles and its brightness is awesome and it has flashing LED takedowns..

I would go with some grille lights and headlight flashers or strobes. they're easily hidden and provide good warning. a simple dash or visor light would finish the job inside. though a visor light would provide more stealth. the back would be pretty simple to- just some deck lights with tail light flashers or strobes.

In my personal opinion though a lightbar is the best way to go...you can supplement the bar with grill, dash, rear window, and headlight/ tail light flashers/ strobes. thats my thoughts- take em for what there worth...

If you do CVPIs, there is a member on this board that sells these amazing sun visors with 2 - 500 series heads built into them geared specifically for that professionally made. I would check them out

If you are looking for a lightbar I can sell you Tomar Blades, Scorpians, 970 or any thing that Tomar makes at a good price. I have a 970l LED R/B with built in arrow stick for a good price PM me if interested.

Try the Sound-Off Pinnacle interior bar. Its plenty bright and offers takedowns. Price wise its pretty economical too.

Go with Code 3 if you want the brightest LEDS on the market, Defender bar(exterior), Defender wingman(interior).
We got a Code 3 bar on the tow truck and its not really anything to brag about. Its a halogen rotator from the 90s...had to replace a lense a while back on one side. That was really hard to get and expensive, even though they had them in stock.

I dont think you have seen a High powered Tomar Blade yet.
