Federal Signal Can this lightbar be dated?

I recently acquired this Federal Signal Aerodynic model 25RWLI2 tow lightbar. I noticed it has a date code of 03342. Does that code somehow indicate when the bar was made? If not, can someone who knowledgeable about these bars tell me the time period these bars were in production? Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I understand, Federal Signal date codes in that format are two digits for the year and three digits for the day of the year. So, the date code 03342 is read as the 342nd day of the year ending in 03. That's December 8, 2003, a Monday.

Shues is correct on the date. Also, there is likely a decal on the motors and there will be a date on those decals. The motors may show a date of one, perhaps two months earlier than the actual build date for the bar. The motor date is useful for products that do not have a production date code decal.
