Has anyone had any experience with using Feniex light heads with a carbide system? Looking to synch everything, but the dual color with white. Obviously every light head on steady burn, but I didn't know how well Feniex worked with an external controller like the Carbide.

I have an apollo stick wired to a CanTrol unit and it works fine. They are duel color heads in my stick. All patterns seem to work. I took out the Feniex controller and wired them directly to my unit. So far so good

I think it depends on the lighthead. I've heard cannons and their new fusions do not play well with external flashers. You would be better to ask in the feniex forum

That’s because those are “dummy” modules - the internal flasher products don’t work despite having a steady pattern setting.

I used some dual color cannons with a whelen cencom core. When trying to use fast flash pattern, the light head was almost randomly switching the color and just not could keep up .
On slow pattern it is fine and can be syncronized
