Hello everyone,
So my question is can you change the color of you’re leds? I have some that are clear lenses color red. I do not need the red, i need amber or white. People keep saying just change the bulb. Is that even possible? I have alway thought that the color came from the board of the led. The lights i have are 911 and whelen. Another question is, if they can be changed is it even cost affective?

changing the leds is very much so more cost efficient than buying a new head. On the used market sometimes it would be cheaper to pick up a different head if they are available, but you are gambling with how much use its had or if there are any defects that cant immediately be seen like water intrusion.

I am located in the southern tier of NY. all of those would most likely lean on definitely being cost effective to change.
