Got this lightbar from a salvage yard in Minot for a decent price. Since I'm not collecting this type of XL, I'm making this a potential for any small town FD that needs an upgrade on older lighting they may have on a rig or a vehicle that needs a lightbar real bad. Since this lightbar was designed for being mounted for primary forward warning, it needed more rear warning capability. I had these free-form rotators just hanging around so I thought I'd put 'em to good use. I took the center mirrors out and put them on the outboard sections so the large parabolics had a cascade effect to the front. I then put the free-form high speeds in towards the center and kept no mirrors in the center section to give some space so it wasn't too much of an epileptic seizure on the roof.

I had done a different modification to the same model lightbar for a small lake town FD in 2009. In that instance, I had some motorless free-form rotators and made work lights and rear flashers out of them. Turned out good as well!
