Picked these up simply to compare them. I have the 6 diode version. They are good, but nothing amazing. I would recommend the 9 diode version- as I have the 6. Now, with that said, they do "hide" much better than the Sound Off Lighthouse ones, but they are still semi noticeable compared to others. They are also much better than Whelen Vertex at "off angles to the light source".
Light output is good, but not great. Light temperature is also something left to be desired, more of a 4500-5000 k I would say. (more of a "household lightbulb" yellow/white) Once tossed into a turn signal housing, the "circle" of LED's actually was pretty effective at lighting up the whole housing, and provided a uniform light overall. I was slightly surprised. It did get warm when left running, but no where near as hot as the sound off lighthouse. Solid built housing as well, yet the transparent plastic did not appear to be able to stand up to "surface mounting" abuse. I would also be concerned about water condensing inside the actual housing.
