Found a lightbar quick disconnect accessory. Part # LBQD15H. Wondering if anyone here has ever used this product, and if so how hard is it to install one? Any problems found etc. ? Also instead of posting a new thread in wanted area, if anyone could give me an idea of what it cost?, that would be great too. Thanks.

I have not used this connector, But I use alot of connectors like this, and Depending on the type of pin that is used in that connector, I would bet you will either need a closed barrel crimp tool, or a Open barrel crimp tool to attach it to your lighbar wires. The open barrel is more common, and is used on weather pack connectors. The closed barrel is expensive. It is possible that they are solder pins, but I doubt it.

Also, usually circular connectors like that cost anywhere from $26 - $200. I would be real interested to see what code 3 has it listed for.

if your looking for something similar, look at the Molex XRC connectors.

They need the open barrel crimp tool.
