Looks like Code 3's response to the LINZ6

Is it six LEDs?

Anyone know what the price on these will be? I've been looking for a pair of amber LINz6s, but if these are cheaper I might try them out.

I doubt they will be cheaper than the LinZ6... Haven't seen much come out of Code 3 that I thought was competitively priced...

Response to the LINZ6? Hell, that is a LINZ6, complete with the gay-ass flange (HATE!!!! those things).

Here's the Dino picture that code3 used. I wonder if they got permission off the photographer to use that image.

It does look like a linz6. Just the code3 flange doesn't have a dip on its sides like the whelen one does. Plus the code3 lighthead is more of a tablet shape than whelens rectangle.

edit: I've just noticed that its the same lighthead as used in their version of the falcon.

I've found their prices to be darn near to every other major manufacturer. I used some exterior mount optix units in a recent build because they were the cheapest led of that style through a local distributer. At this point I make my decision on LEDs based on size/mounting option and price. I feel all major companies offer LEDs that work just fine. I would be interested to see how much these go for, it's always good to have another option.

Agreed... I routinely sell xt3's and 4's for 50. The xt6 around 62

The 4 LED ones were perfect for my application and were $5 cheaper than the next company. This isn't always the case though, whelen and federal have come in cheapest before too. I'll really use any company that fits the bill. I imagine the T-Rex will be similar in price to other similar units within a few months of release.
