Buddy has a Colorado and is wanting to install HAW strobes, Siren and possibly Grille LEDs. Would like to run things off of relays but need idea on best locations for components, and routing. Location of switched power location that I can use, etc. I refuse to hack up his truck and want to do it right. Help is greatly appreciated.

you have asked a broad general question, and with out knowing what you know how to do, it makes it hard to help you. Relays are good but it doesnt seem like you are using much that wold require relays. If you get power straight from the battery you will be good, as fars as what equipment to use what is the budget, what are his needs?

He is going to use HAW strobes, LED grille lights and possibly some surface mount LEDs for the front bumper. Not sure of siren/speaker combo, more than likely a remote siren. I like using relays so I can use a multi strand small gauge wire to control the relays without alot of bulk. I guess the siren box and power supply mount under the hood? Thanks.

You can only mount stuff under the hood that's water proof. Very few power supplies are. Only motorcycle siren boxes are. Anything else must be mounted inside.

I have a FedSig Ricochet 6x90 strobe pack under the passenger seat and the PAP112 under the drivers. Plenty of room. You can pick up a Remote Accessory Power ( RAP ) wire behind the cigarette lighters.
