Looks like it's just gonna be a flickering purple blob from far away in back. Otherwise pretty nice.

I also find it interesting to see red on the passenger side of the lower front and opposite at the top of the windshield. May be normal in that area, but not seen here.

Thats the way i was going to install my grill lights. Just cause its different.

Slow the patterns down (at least in the rear), do solid colors on a solid flash pattern and, if it's FD, get rid of the blue - it looks TOO much like PD (which, of course, is probably the idea).

Also, get rid of the duplication - the headlights are flashing, so there's no need for strobes in the headlights.

The front looks good except for the blinding flashback from the SlimLighter. Like everyone has said, slow down the patterns and get rid of the split colors. YUCK!

Yeah, what he said... the multi-$1000 purple blob setup shows it's ugly face again!!!

This may be in New Jersey - blue lights are a free-for-all there. Short version: Every emergency vehicle has red lights, some have blue as well. (Most cop cars have red/blue, some ambulance/fire also have red/blue)

So what if emergency vehicles use blue lights along with vollys, It helps us because people see blue and sometimes move.

I actually like seeing blue lights on emergency vehicles other than police vehicles, but if you see post #8 above you'll see that others disagree.

Agree. LED's are great and they can be had in versions that show both red and blue, but using them with a fast flash pattern makes them look like a purplish blur. The human eye and brain need a little time to register things and this flash pattern is simply too fast.

What gave it away Dick Tracey? The Jersey tag?

I don't bother with license plates, they're too obvious.
