Here are the trucks from one of my Vol. Depts.


Ill start with Brush 215. Its a 2008 F350 4x4. 300 gal water/ 10 gal foam. It has 150' of 1" soft forestry line, and 100' of 1.5" attack line preconnected. Also has 150" of 1" booster line. It has a Whelen 8 strobe 9M, (2) Whelen Tir6's on the front bumper, 2 Whelen Tir3's on the side of the front bumper for intersection warning. (4) Tir3's to the rear, and (2) 500 series leds on each rear side corner.

The next one is Rescue 115. Its not really a rescue anymore, this truck took the place of our old rescue, and all the tools got moved to the engine. Now, this truck just runs medical calls, occasional command duties, and to transport personell. It has a 911ep millenium, 911ep ls, HLF/TLF, and Tomar Grill lights

Next we have Attack 115. Its a 1990 GMC Topkick. It has 500 gallons of water, 150' of 1" soft forestry, and 100' of 1.5" attack line. This truck is soon to be replaced with a 5 ton 6x6 military truck.

Next in line is Tanker 115. This truck is soon to be replaced with a brand new Pumper Tanker. This truck is a 1969 Ford. It used to be our engine, but was retired. A couple years ago, we brought it out of retirement. We scrapped the pumper body and pto pump, and built this flat bed. It has a 1300 gallon poly tank, and is used mainly to resupply the brush trucks on brush fires.

I wish my department would invest on a small brush truck like that first one. For some reason they love to buy huge heavy good for nothing delacate brush trucks that cost $250,000 and break after every grass fire. Yes they our trucks look nice and yes we have alot of them but they are worthless for tight spaces and really really muddy areas even if they are 4wd our trucks are just too heavy. :cry: But nice rides man i love them

I do have a suggestion... PLEASE get some elastic netting or something to secure the EMS gear in that Expedition! You all get in a wreck... that backboard or suction unit... or "slow" sign won't feel too good being implanted in someone's head.

That truck never responds. And when it does respond someone always breaks it and when it is out of service we are SOL we need to get atleast 2 more and place one at Station 4 and one at Station 3 or possibly at Central Station.
