Scott was struck by another vehicle. He was thrown from the overpass, and landed down on the east bound lanes of I-20. Due to the traffic, and ice, Dallas FD had a difficult time getting an ambulance to him. Careflite was launched, but could not lift off due to a rapidly dropping ceiling. The location was on the south western edge of the city limits with Grand Prairie. Grand Prairie FD responded with an ambulance as well. Scott was transported by ground by DFnR with a DPD escort. His brothers were preforming trauma cpr while going to the Hospital. The driver of the car that hit Scott walked away from the scene.

Rest Easy Firefighter.
