Looks good. The lightbar on the roof rack is something I am still not used to seeing but it looks ok.

Leave the lightbar on the roof rack....the other 2 comments that said it should be mounted to the roof probably werent from cops, but w/ the bar on the roof rack it raises a few inches which gives greater visibility when the lights are on especially on SUV's and improves officer safety.

rofocowboy84 and medicandy, I struggled with the mounting since I have a sunroof and the drilling location for the hole in the roof was limited but I utilized one of the end caps on the roof rack to help hide the wiring. I ideally want a quick disconnect plug so I can remove the roof rack and mount the quick disconnect brackets, but finding one isn't easy

Thank you everyone for the comments, any suggestions are always welcome, and anything you would like to see added tell me it might make its way on the truck

I like it a lot!

Do you do on-site installations? If so, do you use this vehicle to carry your equipment or is this strictly for demo purposes?

Nice Install Man. As much as I dont like the way the lightbar looks on the Roof rack i'm sure it really does help with visibility. The police dept has an explorer w/liberty mounted on the roof and there biggest complaint is you cant see it from the rear. Esp if the trunk is open.

Question Which mounting bracket did you use for the inner beams?

Except this is a demo vehicle, they're supposed to look as streamlined as possible, that way you don't have officers saying, "Oh, I don't like the way that lightbar's on the rack instead of the roof, let's find someone else to do our hundred thousand's worth of installs," not knowing that that's only one way he can do it. It's better to have it they way they're used to, and then be able to say, "PLUS, we can mount it higher on the roofrack to improve visibility to the back!"

And why does it matter if I'm a LEO or not? Both departments I run with have a major highway going through their first-due areas, I've done plenty of EMS/Fire work on the side of a busy highway.....
