Dodge Charger inner edge- Takedown issue

Good afternoon,

I am kind of baffled by this, I acquired an older Whelen inner edge (2008 dodge charger), that had all red modules. I tried hooking up the takedown function because I was looking to convert the takedown modules from red to white, and I can not get the takedowns to activate when I apply power to the takedown wire. I have tried many different power options to power on the takedowns. Was the takedown feature an option or did all of the Whelen inner edges come powered with the takedown option?

I could be wrong, but if you got the model with no take downs then that would be the reason they don't work.
