Running an install on a 2010 Yukon SLT. reviewing the GM Upfitter's guide, it states that there should be a dead-ended 12 or 14ga supply wire under the dash or center console to power light controlls. Does the upfitters guide only apply to SSV/PPV models, or the entire GM Brand?

Only SSV/PPV usually. With the retail versions all bets are off. I don't think GM ever made a SSV Yukon.
No SSV Yukon that I can find any history of.
I guess I'll just have to pull wire from the battery. easy enough.
