For a couple of years now i've been working at the Netherlands highway agency.

This agency is responsible for maintaing the highways and making sure traffic flows safely and freely.

A lot of the job consist of dealing with accidents, lost cargo, debris on the roadway, breakdowns etcetera.

Last friday I was issued my new work ride, a 2010 BMW R1200RT

Greetings, Daniël

I think the smile on the face says it all. :D

Looks like VAMA equipment all around? I'm guessing you don't have a siren?

Wow - awesome. RT-P's are amazing bikes. Looks good and be safe out there - that job is dangerous enough in a car, let alone a motorcycle!

Doesn't look like any forward lighting either, apart from the LED strobe-kebab. (That's what I call any light on a stick, regardless of light type)

No siren indeed, and only amber lighting.

There is forward lighting present, here is a detail shot:

the rear features a little led matrix sign which can display STOP, or Follow. Somebody also thought it would be a good idea to add a traffic adviser function to that. on a bike meant for roads with maximum speeds of at least 50 and up to 75 mph...
