We were approached some months ago by a member of our local Ghostbusters fan group, the Buffalo Ghostbusters (https://www.facebook.com/thebuffaloghostbusters/), to upfit his Jeep in the spirit of the Ecto 1a (Ghostbusters 2)

His main specifications were for a removable roof rack, with a bunch of other hidden lighting. So far, we have 2 B/W Feniex Fusions in the grille, 2 Feniex T3's on the hood, and Feniex Cannons in the taillights.

For the roof rack, we started with a Arkenson 64" roof rack, and 2 Whelen Liberties. First problem we ran across, was the Basket measured in at 40" wide, while the Liberties measure in at 47". With this in mind, we contacted a local machine shop, and had them cut 4" out of both Liberties. This also meant we needed to cut 8 lenses down.
Please note, if anyone else tries to do this, do not use a chopsaw. the lenses WILL grenade in your face:

I've diy'ed a hotwire out of old guitar strings. Goes slow but is much cleaner.
