I'm wondering if he's inquiring if the power supply is unregulated. I can't remember, but if it isn't, he's asking if he'd drop to 15 watts per outlet vs. having 22.5 watts per outlet since he's not using two outlets. If memory serves me correctly, I thought those were regulated at 15 watts per outlet, so it wouldn't matter if he added two more or not, they wouldn't get any brighter or dimmer.

I do believe that the EB-6s are regulated... But, IMO, you should keep your strobes the same, ie, all linears of all helix style...

The EB-6...as is with most edge bars power supplys...is NOT regulated. I believe the EB-6 and the SL-6 has a white wire that activates the last 2 strobes but will also boost the power, I believe from 60 watts to 90 watts.

There were 3 of the 6 outlet supplys, the EB-6, SL-6 and the 2x6. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think the EB and SL were the same except one was for the relay matrix bar and the other for the hi current switching bar. The 2x6 had the 2x2x2 switching.
