Edge 9000 Wiring Help

Searching this topic has yielded various results. I have read, and seen, different descriptions of what wire does what on the Edge bars and what i have experienced doesn't match any of them LOL!!! My bar is 4 strobe and 8 halogen lights (no alley lights). I have connected the red and black to positive and negative respectively and started touching the other wires to positive to see what the wire controls. The only thing that i have been able to make work is the 4 strobes in the double flash pattern by applying 12v to the white with black stripe wire. Additionally, applying power to the solid white wire cut out the front strobes. I never got the halogens to do anything. I read in search results that the black stripe wires are actually grounds...confirmation of this would be helpful. There is only one large cable coming out of the bar and a pic is attached. The only wires that are not shown are the black, white, and shield wires for the speaker. The sticker on the bottom of the bar offers no help in regards to the model, but based on what i have read it is a 9XX4 model. Thanks in advance!

this is what Whelen gave me a while back when I was researching a bar myself. It’s for the 9004AK I believe. Might be the same as to what you have.

Let’s see if I can attach these pics.

Found that this is a 9004 bar with a build date of 12/91. The only thing that I can get powered is the strobes and the front take downs. In the process of tearing down to see what is and isn’t hooked up or to see where wires go.

That’s the best way to do it. Tear it apart and see what’s connected to where. The only way to know for sure.

Spoke too soon. Apparently the circled row in the pic is a ground bar and the third terminal from the left is smoked and where the flasher is grounded. Luckily this is the wire harness side that leaves the bottom of the bar so replacing that is all I think I’ll need. I need two actually...have another Edge that needs the same thing.
