Does anyone know what the brand was of the little amber beacons on the outer rears of the trucks Hose bed On the Mack cf trucks , usually there would be a 184 beacon in the middle , looks like Dietz or Signal stat? We’re they halogen or strobe? Thanks.

I scored a pair of Federal's BR2S's off a FDNY truck that was shipped over here to Seagrave for restoration and never made it... Simply BR2S's in amber, that was all...

It’s important to remember that FDNY bought hundreds of Mack CFs over the years, in multiple batches, with differing specifications. So the beacons and flashers on a 1970 CF surely were different than those on a 1980 CF. Add to that any modifications, either at the shop or station level, and your question becomes more difficult to answer.
