Saw this listing on the Bay. Couldn't help but laugh. Advertised as being Fed Sig from 1972 and "explosion proof". Take a closer look at the photos and you'll see that something isn't quite right...

Link to Federalsky Signalvich Explosion Proof Siren Listing

The Western Fed Sig manufactures PA-15s and PA-20s, the Soviet Fed Sig manufactures explosion proof sirens. Go figure.

I wonder what their equivalent to a Beacon Ray would be? Or any of the FS products that we know and love, for that matter...

Also curious as to how "explosion proof" it is.

Didn't they License their Soviet products to the Chinese for their Knock offs Division??

Them and every other manufacturer out there. The Chinese Knock-Offs Division copies every product in existence. As for this Soviet gem, this was one of the first Chinese knock-offs ever made. It worked once and then fell apart and then burst into flames. You can still find them on Alibaba under the Voltex brand.

Only used once. At Chernobyl. :p

Then it would be glowing green and have six arms and would be able to both walk and climb walls. Possibly shoot webs too. I'd also doubt how effective it was if it was used there.

This is awesome... lol i wonder what that thing sounds like

Probably just says in a computerized voice: "Everything is safe. The fallout is harmless. Keep working or you'll be shot."

I fully expect a video when you get it!!!

Sorry Tony, not getting this monstrosity. I only buy Capitalist-made products. For all I know, this thing could be covered in Polonium or Novichok and most definitely has some sort of FSB surveillance devices. Vlad's reach extends very far and I have no doubt that he hopes to infiltrate this community of ours. Only he knows the reasons why. Thankfully, we're all too clever for that to happen. Probably.
