Federal GEN1 LED repair?

I've got some Federal Signalmaster LEDs which are Gen. 1. Problem is some have 1,2,3 vertical rows of LEDs out, & a couple flickering. I don't know how to fix them myself, can anyone fix there / can they be fixed?


They're all 8+ years old so, way out of warranty.


I have 6 or 7 so far that have issues; all amber if that makes a difference.

Maybe a loose solder connection? I've had a couple Cudas that had boards out. Pulled them apart and the plugs came with them. Resoldered and they work again. Maybe FS had a stretch of bad solder?
