So I recently picked up a Firebeam 3, not really sure how vintage, and collectible these are. What gives mine the cool factor is that this unit appears to have once belonged to the Chicago Police Department. I have attached a few photos showing some engraving, and inventory sticker. I purchased this unit in one of those facebook groups.

Holy crap! I bought one from the same guy due on FB to the multi speed feature and its price. Mine came with a large magnet on it (over the property tag), but when you posted this, I removed it and BOOM. CPD property tag! I can't believe I missed that one. Somehow it's even cooler now! Mine's CPD # 110098

Shoot me an address in PM and I'll mail it to you. No charge for the magnet, but you may reimburse the postage after you get it if you like. If not, it won't make or break me. I only use magnetic stuff for very temporary stuff, and usually just in amber. My reds and blues all get bolted down.
There are facebook groups for people with addictions such as mine? Please share!
Yes please share I need more than here, Panjo, and eBay.

Both of my current vehicles do no have much room to mount anything old LOL. My Impreza doesn't have much space on the dash for me to put the light. In order for me to make it work I will have to put a block right where the clock and temp readout is and put the light on that. See attached photo to get an idea of what I am talking about.

I've never seen those used in CPD vehicles ever. CPD was notorious for poor lighting in tac & detective cars. Siren, wig wag headlights and clear corner strobes was the norm. I know a guy who bought his own blue FB2 to put on the dash.
