Never got around to adding some pictures of my collection. Just a few miscellaneous pieces I’ve stumbled across and acquired. I’m not too sure what the bar is, the label is pretty roached but it looks like it said Signal Stat. A few old Signal Stat lollipops, Federal flash balls, Yankee and Sireno teardrops, and SVP pancakes.

It does have a good sound to it, every now and then I'll annoy the neighbors a bit. I plan on putting it in a 1968 Ford Custom for parades and car shows.
I prefer the deep slow rising wail and yelp tones of the late 1960s Federal Director and Interceptor sirens. They sing.

I don't like the sound of the 1970s versions. They scream.

That is an interesting way of phrasing it. I like the early electronic sirens too, I describe them as "accidental mechanical simulation"; your description is more accurate.
