I know the Old Smart Sirens we used to be able to Make a Connector for the 12-pin Harness in the back. Has any one had any success with the New ones? I Have a platinum and am missing the wire for the back of the keypad, as well as another rear connector for the brain. Has anyone successfully made their own? If so what parts/places did you get them from.
I have found Molex Connectors that fit one of the inputs, but now need the inside connectors etc.

Hi,

Yes, connector kits are available. The connectors are still made by Molex and I believe you can use your current crimp tool (I have not been able to confirm the latter yet.) The kits are available on eBay (ex., item number 163146249763). Search either for "Federal Signal connector" or "Molex 10 pin connector".

If you don't have a Moles (or compatible) crimp tool, the correct 10 pin connector pigtail is also available on eBay, search for "Federal Signal connector". I've had very good results on eBay, including my Omega 90 Amplifier and Omega 8000 Controller.

I hope that this information proves useful.

Good luck, Bruce 216782
