Federal SS2000 Control Head won’t light up

Hey everybody,

I have a Federal SS2000 siren setup and everything works fine except the control head won’t power up when plugged in. Any suggestions on how to remedy this issue?

Several questions for troubleshooting:
A) what makes you say everything is working, if the keypad is dead?
B) did you use the correct data cable (reversed RJ-11)?
C) are you certain the keypad is working outside of this system?

Everything but the keypad works as far as the system goes. I think the reversed RJ-11 is what I’m missing I will order one and see if that corrects the issue.
