Feniex 4200 Mini

Right now I have a dual color Apollo 2x dash light with two different patterns set, 1 to each mode.

I also have 2 cobra's in the rear, that I plan to set up for use with the flash module inside the 4200 mini.

I have just a few questions:

1.) Regarding the ground wires of the lights. I see that the ground from the controller goes to my vehicle's battery, where would I put the ground from the lights?

2.) With the buttons I don't use I assume I could just put a on the wire and crimp it leaving the other end open for future use?

3.) Would I be able to set two buttons on the controller to pick between the different flash patterns of my Apollo? I have 1 for responding (red/white) and a slower pattern (red/red) for sitting on scene of incidents.

My plan down the road is to either make the cobra's grill lights, or transfer them to another vehicle I own, and in their place a 6 head LED stick for use as a T/A when needed.

To the closest good grounding spot on the vehicle. It does not need to be grounded at the controller

Yes, that is what we do or we use a crimp cap

3.) Would I be able to set two buttons on the controller to pick between the different flash patterns of my Apollo? I have 1 for responding (red/white) and a slower pattern (red/red) for sitting on scene of incidents.

Yes each mode will need to be run to a separate button on the controller.

My plan down the road is to either make the cobra's grill lights, or transfer them to another vehicle I own, and in their place a 6 head LED stick for use as a T/A when needed.

What would a good grounding spot be?
Not sure where exactly you are putting everything but there are typically grounding studs on every car within 5-10 feet of anywhere on the car. Anything that goes to the chasis and is bare metal should be sufficient.
