Feniex headliner bracket?

I ordered some headliner brackets for my 600 rear light stick up on the headliner of my pickup, hoping for a more secure, less shaky mount. The headliner bracket is just a flat angled piece with no holes or instructions. How is the Feniex bracket actually supposed to mount to a headliner?

There is literally not a single pic anywhere on the internet of this installed. No customer reviews with pics on any website, I must've check over 20 different vendor sites.

Do you have any factory mounts in that location or pull down headliner use some rivnuts in a support strut if available and drill your own hold in bracket.

No, no factory mounts. It's the rear headliner of an F150 supercrew

We've dropped the headliner, found the brace and mounted the headliner bracket (short piece) to that. Then cut a slit in the headliner for the brackets to come through and drill holes in it for the level at which we want the stick to sit. We then cut off any remaining bracket so there is nothing hanging below the stick. Really should take pictures next time we do it.

I hate truck back windows... lol

I just did one, but didnt think to take pictures.

Whelen Part numbers are:
Ford Pickup 15+ 07-26H349-023 (need two)

GM: 07-26H400-023 (Driver)
07-26H400-123 (passenger)

about $20 each
Hmmm, not sure if I could even buy that separate, or if they'd work. It says for 2015+ without sliding window, I have a 2014 with a power sliding window

I got the brackets installed. I'm happy with how solid the bar is now, but not thrilled with how it makes the headliner wrinkle20200110_204452.jpg20200110_204503.jpg

Thats how I started to do it.. the other way to combat that is to drop the headliner then mount the bracket. Then you need to cut a slit in the headliner. The bolt will then also be hidden.

Like I said. I hate doing the back windows of trucks. I've been using the window mount brackets, but that doesn't work with a power back window

What ive done is pop off the plastic rivets that hold the headliner up and find bolts that fit where the plastic rivets went. The bolts will screw into the factory metal bracket that is behind the headliner. Works great, doesnt wrinkle the headliner fabric and is rock solid
