Flashback problem

What type of vehicle is it in?? One suggestion might be to use one screw on each side of the install bracket vs. two, and that should give you more flexibility to get it closer to the windshield. You can also outline the flashback in wireloom or something similar to help minimize the flashback...

its in a mercury mystique. the brackets are similar to that of a whelen slimlighter, however on one side the wire runs through the bracket....see pics on website to see what i mean.
