Flexible Wire Protection

Our agency has a pool of VHF mobile radios that are signed out by personnel during incidents for use in their POV's. I'm getting ready to wire up new radios using lighter plugs which works fine for us, but am wondering if there are any wire protection products out there now that are more flexible than heat shrink, and not as stiff as wire loom. Ideally, the radio power cords are rolled back up after use and stored in a Go Bag, but neat shrink is about the only thing I can find to add some protection to the radio wiring. Over time and with use, the heat shrink tubing gets kinked. Wire loom is too stiff and not very manageable in long lengths for storage or deployment.

Is there anything else out there that you use? I'm actually thinking about trying to use some rubber vacuum hose as a more flexible wire protector and see how that works. Thoughts?

Flexo Sleeving (snake skin), it gets used on most if not all motorcycle wiring that is external of the frame.

Thanks! That looks like something that maybe even our guys can't destroy too quickly..... :D
