That's bad @ss. I'm sure with a low price tag, lol. Kind a looks like a Raptor on steroids but built like a tank, it'll be a great first attack, brush or forest fire rig.

Yeah... I'd be shocked if the chassis was less than 6 figures. Very cool, though. I'd love to build a CAFS-equipped heavy brush/mini attack on one.

Looks like Grand Prairie Ford has been peeking over the fence at Lockhead Martin, down the street.....Lockhead has been field testing the JLTV prototype here in Grand Prairie. Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) · Lockheed Martin

Test track 5 miles from Grand Prairie Ford.

This is not the first time a Dallas area dealership has created a special service vehicle with potential. Dallas Dodge did the first SSV Durango and 1500 Pick Up, which Chrysler put into production.

uploadfromtaptalk1400464425396.jpg reminds me of the same vehicle I saw at a fire expo earlier in the year. I would love to have this as my personal vehicle lol

Saw that truck there as well. Actually has been there for the last couple of years. Can't remember the price point, but as I recall, it was quite reasonable considering what you get, plus warranty.

Oh, and dropped by to see Dan :)

You guys get all the fun around G.P. and Dallas. There's an old test track waaaay south of Midland that's been used for some test vehicles over the years, but I don't know if it's still in use. It was built as the "Rattlesnake Raceway" in the late '50s by Jim Hall and Hap Sharp of Chaparral cars fame. They had some serious injuries and a fatality during the one-and-only race they had at the site in 1959, and it's been a test facility since.

An interesting side-story to the first race. Not long after the races started they had a bad crash that critically injured the driver. He was placed aboard an ambulance from Ellis Funeral Home and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital. Only minutes after the ambulance had left the fatal crash occurred, and there was no ambulance present. But the news car from KCRS radio was there. It was a '59 Ford wagon, just like Ellis' ambulance, and it had a big amber beacon on top. The fatally injured driver was placed in the news room and taken to Midland Memorial, with the news unit receiving a police escort once inside the city. If a track like that was up and running nowadays, you'd never see anything like that. You'd see one or two big medic rigs or maybe an infield hospital like they had at the old DIMS.

Apparently you have never been in conditions that needed it...

Oh I have, and also spent a week replacing axle seals, air lines, manifold and wheel valves (all CM Products garbage) on an M35A3. Never, ever again. Onboard air and Driver B are all I need

The biggest drawback to the Ford F554 is that it is a Ford......
