I'm Looking for Marine Grade 12V Relay Remote Controlled

All I've been able to find is Amazon quality remote controlled 12V relays.

Any suggestions?

Need it to control 20ADC @ 12VDC

Thanks

What exactly do you mean when you say that you want the relay to be remote controlled?
Similar to a remote controlled Auto Alarm System using a FOB-type transmitter.

Most of the Amazon-grade electrical components have a high failure rate in our high ambient temps (thus the use of Marine Grade components).

I bought 3 commercial grade "fob" devices and all were pretty bad. I wonder if you might be better off piecing your build together with a commercial grade fob unit controlling a more robust marine relay that you purchase and install separately.

I use this one
and it is pretty cheap. With any load on it it isn't reliable, but I have the device sealed into my own project box with a Bosch waterproof relay kit. Basically all the heavy lifting is done by the Bosch relay, the fob only need to run the switching current not the actual load. In that setup it has been out in the rain and weather for 2 years with lots of cycles without failure.

My advice is to find a fob system you like and pair it with a relay you trust.

Thanks Mr SHUES,

I've spent over 2-3 hrs over the last several weeks on the phone with numerous parts distributors and they all can't click their way out of a flaming paper bag. The larger problem is that most of the pictorial representations on an internet site don't match with the actual part.

I miss the o' Brick and Mortar Parts Houses where you'd always have the go-to Guy (that could find a dead cat in a meat processing factory).

Painless Performance has a 5-pin micro relay kit that you'll just eliminate the 5th middle pin, (but I needed a potted relay).
