Federal Signal FS Valor LED

So I seem to have this wild hair to test my electronics skills, just for fun to see if I can. I first wanted to see if anyone else has tried this or knows anyone who has and what the results were.

I have 2 Valor R/B laying around and want to make a R/R. So i got the idea of trying to de-solder the LEDs off one board and putting them on another. Not sure how well this will go. I have done LED soldering before and that is not an issue, just not with anything like this.

Any tips and or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Silly question and I don't know the Valors from the inside, but can't you just switch the boards?

Unfortunately the front board on the valor have a angel cut on the front side and due to that it makes them unable to be swapped. they can be if they are going on the same side but not opposite sides. (if that makes sense.) So I have 2 bars lefts is red and right is blue then i cant take one of the lefts and but it on the right side of the other due to that.
